Alex Fitzpatrick is the founder of Alexander Fitzpatrick, Handcrafted Interiors.

Alex is originally from Wokingham, Berkshire, but lived in the United States for ten years. It's there, in Seattle, that he learned his craft, while being mentored as a cabinet maker and restoring Victorian timber framed houses.

Upon returning home to the United Kingdom he headed North. After studying at John Moores University, Liverpool and making bespoke furniture part-time, he started his own business, 'The Alcove Company' in 2001.

After several years of constant expansion and after moving to a new larger workshop, Alex decided it was time to expand further and re-brand the business to account for the additional services offered such as:
